Some thing happened to me last year while going on vacation. I arrived at the airport early in the morning. Going through security, on the way to Iraq , was a group of our troops dressed in fatigues together with their families. The emotion in the air between them was overwhelming. My wife teared up while listening to the good-byes. On the other side of security, the mood was very somber.
We thought hard about what we could do to help our troops in any way. My wife stationed herself at the McDonalds where many of the troops were getting breakfast. No troops were going to pay for their breakfast that morning. I walked around with trays of coffee and quietly distributed them. I wished I had had a few of cases of Dr. Peppers and Mountain Dew instead, as this generation of kids (below sergeant age) weren't big coffee drinkers.
That was the beginning of our vacation. It left us feeling lacking in our support of our troops.
That was then, this is now. We have created this part of our company to:
Provide quality Internet Service to our patrons with outstanding service and support.
Provide assistance to our troops and their families by donating $1.00 per account every month to a fund that helps our troops and their families.
