These policies are not intended to darken or dampen your use of our system, but to allow fairness and to keep our costs, and subsequently your costs as low as possible without degradation of the system. So please be kind to your fellow surfers and follow these few concepts along the way.
- Normal rules of Internet etiquette apply (i.e. no spamming, trolling, etc).
- As a dial-up user, you are allowed only one connection at a time. If there are multiple connections under your account name at the same time, you will be billed for an additional user account for each additional connection.
- We ask that usage be "interactive and attended" (i.e. you are at the computer while it is connected). We monitor for routine mail checks without any other activity. A dedicated account is required for this.
- We also consider an account to be dedicated once 240 hours online is reached during a calender month. This figure is arrived at using 8 hours online per day for a period of 30 days. Most dial-up accounts will never reach this 240-hour limit.
- While we do monitor our modem usage daily, we cannot guarantee that you will not receive busy signals. If you do receive a busy signal, please let us know by Emailing us at support@argontech.net so that we can address the issue. We add additional modem lines based on busy signals, not just the user-to-modem ratio.
- Individual users are given web page privileges for personal web pages. Personal web pages are not to be used for commercial purposes (i.e. any type of sales and marketing). We provide commercial web page services at special rates. If you are interested in establishing a commercial web page, please contact us at sales@argontech.net or call 903-455-5036.
- The user assumes all risk and liability for any loss or damages resulting from or associated with the use of the Internet, software, services or materials provided by the Company.
- Argon Technologies reserves the right to modify or add to the terms, agreements and rules of using our service at any time without notice. We will, however, always attempt to provide as much notice as possible before enforcing any changes. Argon Technologies also reserves the right to cancel or refuse service to any user at any time without reason.
- Argon Technologies believes that the Internet should be useful and fun.
