Sure, everyone would love the bandwidth afforded by a dedicated T1, but the cost is prohibitive for most small businesses. Thankfully, there is software available for Windows operating systems that allow for remote access over analog phone lines. Some of this software, such as Remote Access Services (RAS) or Virtual Private Networking (VPN), may be included with your Windows operating system and only requires configuration.

RAS and VPN is satisfactory for Windows and WIN95 clients working on word processing files, messaging and running applications with "smaller" files. However, to run a FoxPro application such as SBT Accounting with large files, remote control is preferred utilizing Symantec's pcAnywhere software or Citrix Server for multi-user solutions.
